On this episode of Beyond the Bottom Line, Sean Littman sits down with Fayga Marks, founder of My Chronic Brain, to explore what it takes to build a nonprofit from personal pain into national impact.
What began as Fayga’s own struggle to access proper migraine care in Israel evolved into an organization focused on ensuring that no patient has to navigate the system alone. From a single Facebook group to a growing national advocacy effort, My Chronic Brain is working to improve awareness, access, and treatment for migraine sufferers.
My Chronic Brain, also known as the Israel Headache and Migraine Foundation, is a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of people living with migraines and chronic headaches in Israel. Founded by Fayga Marks, the organization focuses on advocacy, education, and access to care.
Through community-building, government advocacy, and partnerships with healthcare stakeholders, My Chronic Brain works to ensure that patients have the knowledge, resources, and access to specialists they need. The organization has played a role in advancing treatment accessibility and continues to grow its impact through patient support and public awareness efforts.
